I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce our newest PNC member, Kim Aguilar Gregor. She will be relocating to the Seattle area in June, and is transferring in from the San Francisco Bay Region. She won’t be here in time for the Annual Meeting next month, but please wish Kim a warm welcome should you meet her at subsequent events.
Some interesting facts about Kim:
- Has been an SLA member for 5 years.
- Received her Library degree from Syracuse University, and is currently a Business Information Specialist at McKinsey’s SF Research Center. Prior to McKinsey, Kim worked in the corporate research center at Booz Allen & Hamilton in San Francisco.
- She is interested in historic preservation and Victorian era architecture, is a docent at the Haas Lilienthal Historic Museum, and hopes to learn to sail this summer!
A gentle reminder to members who wish to make an address change or a request for chapter transfers: please note that all requests should be directed to SLA Headquarters. I’ve attempted to facilitate some recent requests, and was told that for security reasons members are required make these changes on their own behalf.
For additional information, please see the Members Help page: http://www.sla.org/content/Help/membership/index.cfm
I look forward to seeing everyone at the Annual Meeting at Microsoft on May 22, 2002!
