Finding the right job in an ever-changing information world can be a challenge. Whether you are just starting out or thinking about changing roles, this session can provide you with ideas and guidelines to assist you in your search. Heidi Porth, MLIS Consultant with the Dialog Graduate Education Program, will discuss critical professional competencies and how they are important in a variety of information roles from libraries to non-traditional settings. A panel consisting of seasoned information specialists from leading industries in the PNW ranging from high-tech to academia will discuss the qualities and abilities they feel are important in their areas.
