Minutes Approval and Confirmation of Email Board Votes
The meeting minutes were approved. There were no email votes to be approved.
Job Descriptions
Carolyn is working to gather job descriptions from each of the board members
and committee chairs. She has about 60% of them now. Sue suggested that we post
these on the web site and complete a review of the content each year.
Treasurer’s Report
Anna submitted the Annual Report. Total income was $12,881.12. The allotment
from headquarters for members was down to $12 per member.
Archives Chair
Jim Foti, an UW Information School student, is working on a photo album for
the Chapter’s 50th Anniversary and is working with Jean to fill in any missing
information. Jean is following up with John Latham at headquarters to clarify
whether there is any issue with UW owning our documentation if it is turned
over to their archives.
Chapter Membership
There were 291 members as of the end of February 2003. This is an increase
of 10 members over the same period last year.
Nominating Committee
Jean Sansobrino, Nancy Gershenfeld and Kathy Harkness are working to create
a slate of nominees for the Treasurer and President Elect positions.
PR
Susan Smith reported on her efforts to get communication about meetings streamlined
and is working on a process to get the information out effectively to all
appropriate listservs.
