Disaster Recovery Chapter Meeting - March 13, 2002
One year ago, the Nisqually earthquake tumbled books from our shelves and acoustical tiles from our ceilings. Flood and fire may also ravage our collections. You may have a disaster preparedness plan in place, but what do you do after disaster strikes? Join us as Julie Cook from the UW Engineering Library, Jennifer Boteler from the WS-DOT Library, Brian Thompson from the Center for Urban Horticulture’s Miller Library and Rita Dermody from the King County Law Library show the aftermath of earthquake, flood and fire in their libraries and describe their recovery efforts.
