Thank you to all who completed the 2008 Pittsburgh Chapter Member Survey summary of results will be in the next issue of the Confluence.

(AND YET MORE) CONGRATULATIONS...
To SLA-PSG for receiving not one but TWO student group merit awards from SAAAC for 2008. Creative Use of Electronic Resources (2nd year in a row!!) and Outstanding Leadership. The award committee indictated that they "...were very impressed by (SLA-PSG) efforts this year, especially as (they) were the only student group to win two awards. Well done indeed!" and Pittsburgh Chapter's members heartily concur. These awards will be presented to the group at the 2008 SLA Conference in Seattle. CONGRATULATIONS...
To Chapter Member - Gail Stebbins - as the recipent of the 2008 Kirk Cabeen Travel Stipend Award awarded by the SciTech Division of SLA. Gail is currently serving as Pittsburgh Chapter's Student Student Relations Chair & has also served as webmaster and President of SLAPSG -- Way to Go, Gail!
