The Sept. 19th Conversazione was by far our most popular conversazione ever. It was so popular that we had to break up into two different groups to have some good informal conversations.
I decided to try to capture some of the conversations at one of the groups. I think this short video will give you an idea about some of the topics we discussed, and the interesting people we have in our organization.
For those who are unaware, our conversaziones are informal gatherings where Oregon SLA members (and sometimes guests), have dinner, drinks, and discuss a topic of interest.

I just watched a Google Tech video by David Weinberger on his new book "Everything Is Miscellaneous." "He explains how methods of categorization designed for physical objects fail when we can instead put things in multiple categories at once, and search them in many ways." It's well worth the 57 minutes--insightful & witty.
