Welcome to the Omaha Area Chapter of SLA!
Site Last Updated: April 3, 2007.

The Omaha Area Chapter was formed in 1982. Our membership is made up of librarians, archivists, other information professionals and interested individuals, who reside or work in the geographic boundaries of the Chapter, or who choose to associate with the Chapter from outside its boundaries.

Our members make up a diverse group of library-related professions. For example, we have members who are in the corporate environment such as InfoUSA and ACI Worldwide. We have military, art, medical, law, public and state agency librarians.
