Major accomplishment: I bought my first house last year.
Favorite food group: Sweets! Is that a food group? It really should be...
If I won the lottery, I would: Spend more time traveling, gardening, cooking, and doing all of the things I just never seem to squeeze into the weekends.
Favorite website: www.allrecipes.com and www.foodtv.com - I love getting new recipe ideas.
Last good book I read: 'The Time Traveler's Wife;' I'm also having fun right now with 'Freakonomics: A rogue economist explores the hidden side of everything.'
Most influenced by: My parents.
If I weren't a librarian, I'd be: I'm still looking for the answer to this question... I would really like to own my own business.
What I really like about my job is: The broad perspective - I get to learn about projects and ideas from researchers all across the state in all disciplines.
My favorite SLA memory is: I LOVED the NYC conference several years ago - the News Division's cruise down the Hudson was spectacular.
Positions I've held or work I've done for SLA: Currently I am a member of the NC/SLA Communications Team and Editor of the new quarterly bulletin. Previously, I served on the Vormelker-Thomas Award Committee and was the Marketing Director for the University of MD student chapter.
The one thing I really hate to do in the library is: I do not work in a traditional library setting, but my universal complaint is the amout of time I spend indoors - I need to get outside more often!
People would be surprised to know that I: Love to travel and have visited 40+ states and 20+ countries.
