December Greetings, NCSLA Members!  I hope this message finds you happy and well.

It is a busy time of year.  I hope you will take some time to rest, recharge and relax!

Treat yourself to a good book or kick back and watch The Librarian:  Quest for the Spear!

Speaking of incredible librarians, kudos are in order for Sandra Chambers.  Sandra is our second-year director and organized our Fall CE workshop which was on Competitive intelligence.  The program took place on November 19^th at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.  We had 52 attendees. 

In conjunction the CE program, we also had a vendor fair.   Each vendor made a donation to our Chapter which will be used to support our annual business meeting and awards banquet in April.  Many thanks to the following companies for their support; we simply could not conduct Chapter programming without them!

I will be attending SLA's Leadership Summit this January in Tampa.  The theme is "Leading to Succeed."  I look forward to learning a lot and sharing the information with you when I return.
