From 5:30pm — 8:30pm, we’ll be celebrating our chapter’s successes, our professional achievements, renewing acquaintances, and meeting new colleagues.
At 6pm there will be a brief business meeting to introduce our 2010 Executive Board members, review our accomplishments, and look forward to 2010.
At 6:45pm an informal panel discussion will begin about the “Association of the Future.” Learn about the top initiatives planned which recognize opportunities and leverage them to take our association to new levels of visibility and professional leadership. Our featured speakers are:
- Janice Lachance, CEO of SLA
- Anne Caputo, 2010 President of SLA
- Susan Fifer Canby, Chapter Cabinet Chair 2009
The Inn will be decorated for the holidays and information about the area’s history will be shared.

Our menu for the evening includes:
> Mustard Seed Crusted Top Round of Beef Carved to Order with Horseradish Cream, Dijon and Petite Sourdough Rolls
> Sharp Cheddar and Vidalia Onion Dip with Chipotles, Ground Lamb and Pita Crisps
> Grilled Marinated Vegetables with Olive Oil, Poached Mushrooms, Hearts of Palm, Fresh Mozzarella and Roasted Sweet Bell Peppers
> Whole Poached Salmon with Cucumber, Minced Bermuda Onion,Capers, Egg and Tarragon-Mint Crème
> plus fresh fruit, coffee/tea and a cash bar

Where: The Inn at Brookeville Farms, 19501 Georgia Avenue, Brookeville, MD (directions). The Inn is located just north of Olney and there is ample free parking at this former dairy farm!
