- May 3, 2007: Star Gazing at the Maryland Science Center Observatory, 6:30-10 PM
Judy Tapiero and her firm The Organized Library will host a light dinner 6:30-7:30 PM followed by an evening of star gazing led by the Center's Observatory staff from 8pm to 10pm. The cost is $35 (includes meal and ticket to the Observatory). If you are interested in attending the event, contact Chris Olson. Reservations are limited to the first 20 people who respond.

- October 4, 2007: SLA Maryland Chapter Technology Day 2007 - Working in a Virtual World (Kossiakoff Center, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Laurel, MD). The Technology Day lineup includes speakers, vendors, and hands-on demonstrations of technologies you will want to add to your tool box. Point of contact is Susan Fingerman.
- December 12, 2007: Holiday Cheers and Celebrations, 4-7 PM (Della Notte Restaurant, Baltimore, MD). A brief business meeting will lead into a delighful evening of appetizers, refreshments and conversations as we salute our Chapter’s successes and look forward to 2008.
