Spring 2007 Meeting at The Historic New Orleans Collection

LaSoMi members attended a presentation by Gerald Patout, Head Librarian of the Collection, who spoke about their exhibit titled What’s Cooking in New Orleans?: Culinary Traditions of the Crescent City. In addition, a short film was shown titled We Live to Eat: New Orleans’s Love Affair with Food. Members also got to see a new annex to the Williams Research Center on Conti Street. Some attendees got together for lunch after the meeting at the Napoleon House .
