Congrats are in order! In case you didn't know, Catherine Lemann is the new President of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), which is the national law librarian organization. Cathy worked at the Law Library of Louisiana in New Orleans for many years before recently moving to Alaska. Read an interview with Cathy here.
Librarianship was recently named a "Best Career 2009" by U.S. New & World Report. Click here to read the article. The job market for special librarians was mentioned as being particularly good. In addition, the LSU School of Library and Information Science made their list of top library schools in the nation, ranking #24!!
