Welcome to the Hudson Valley Chapter of the Special Libraries Association

The Special Libraries Association (SLA) is an international association with headquarters in Washington, D.C. representing the interests of thousands of information professionals in over eighty countries. SLA offers its members a variety of professional development programs, government and public relations support, a resource center, annual conference and ongoing membership services, such as an employment clearing house and salary surveys.

Its vision is to be the global organization for innovative information professionals and their strategic partners.

Hudson Valley Chapter

The Hudson Valley Chapter of SLA began in 1973. The chapter is comprised of members from Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties in beautiful Southeastern New York State. Some members work in the Hudson Valley; others work in New York City or Fairfield County and live in the Hudson Valley.

The Hudson Valley Chapter currently has approximately 85 members.
