Specialist – Mergers & Acquisitions to work in a prestigious
international law firm’s
New York

NY
office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal and business

Responsibilities:
- Conduct
legal and business research of an often confidential and time sensitive
nature for Corporate and Merger & Acquisition groups
- Monitor
online and in print publications and apprise attorneys of developments in
the field on a daily basis
- Maintain
corporate files
- Organize
legal practice group luncheons for Continuing Legal Education
- Work
under the direct supervision of the Director of Research Services
Qualifications:
- Three
to five years experience in a law firm or related corporate
experience
- MLS
preferred
- Knowledge
of Securities & Exchange Commission filings and experience with EDGAR
filings
- Strong
understanding Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Access
- Ability
to work independently or as part of a research team
