| European Chapter Annual Summer Soiree | ||

| The European
Chapter's Summer Soiree is an annual event where SLA members and other
invited guests can meet informally in the pleasant surroundings of the IEE
overlooking the Thames. Drinks and refreshments will be available
throughout the evening.
William Hann, the European Special Librarian of the Year (ESLY) for 2000/2001 and founder of Free Pint, will give a short presentation outlining his impressions and thoughts on the SLA Conference in Philadelphia. Derwent Information are sponsoring the evening for the third year in succession and the European Chapter would like to thank Derwent for their continued support.
