The Hunley Project

WHAT:  Join the Military Librarians Group to hear from Mark Ragan on the history, raising, and recovery of the CSS Hunley. Mr. Ragan is the historian for the Hunley project, as well as a diver on the night shift during the recovery effort. He is the author of two books: “The Hunley: Submarines, Sacrifice, and Success in the Civil War” and “Submarine Warfare in the Civil War.” He also owns and operates a two-man submarine.

WHEN:  Wednesday, November 3, 2004.  Registration, networking, & cash bar begin at 6:00pm; dinner at 6:30pm; speaker at 7:30pm.

WHERE:  The Tivoli Restaurant, 1700 N. Moore Street, Rosslyn, VA (Metro: Orange & Blue Lines – Rosslyn Station); validated parking available underneath building.

COST & REGISTRATION:  Payment by check or by PayPal accepted. Make checks payable to DC/SLA. Send to the Military Librarians Group with the form below. When paying by check, also send an e-mail registration to ensure a space. Registration fees are not refundable when using PayPal or after the final registration date.
