DC/SLA's Annual Meeting & Banquet - Featuring Dr. Bernadine Healy

WHAT: When was the last time you had dinner with a pioneer? Don't miss out on this fun evening, with lots of festivities, great conversations, and good networking!!

This year's DC/SLA Annual Meeting and Banquet features very special guest speaker Dr. Bernadine Healy, senior writer at U.S. News & World Report and the first woman to lead the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Healy writes the 'On Health' column for the magazine. A Harvard- and Hopkins-trained physician, Healy is a past Director of the National Institutes of Health, where she started the Women's Health Initiative. She is currently a member of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology and a leader in patient care research and education.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 18, 2004, 6pm - 9pm. Cash bar reception begins at 6pm.

WHERE: Four Points Sheraton, 1201 K Street, NW (Metro Orange & Blue Lines - McPherson Square Station).

When paying by check also reply with an e-mail registration to ensure a space. Registration fees are not refundable when using Paypal or after the final registration date.
