Join the Military
Librarians Group of the DC/SLA for
a Sunday at Solomons Island, Maryland on October 1, 2006.
This is a special
opportunity to enjoy and explore the history, culture, and lighthouses
of the Chesapeake Bay and Patuxent River from one glorious location.
The Museum collection is regionally oriented to preservation, research,
and interpretation of the culture and natural history of Southern
Maryland.
This tour size is
limited so sign up ASAP! After your registration is received, you will
be sent a map of the Calvert County/Solomons Island area showing
restaurants, shops and other places of interest. Parking is available
at the Museum and other locations in town. In the case of inclement weather: boat may
be cancelled; museum library tour will continue as scheduled.
