Who We Are

The Central Pennsylvania Chapter, established in 1979, consists of those counties in the central portion of the Keystone State, and includes members from the state capital Harrisburg in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania State University, and from a wide variety of other public, academic, government, non-profit, and corporate libraries throughout the region. Check out our Central Pennsylvania Chapter Map to see the counties covered by this chapter. If you're already a member, you might also be interested in exploring the many options available through our connection with YahooGroups.

Membership Information

Our members belong to a wide variety of private and public-sector information centers throughout the central Pennsylvania region, as well as other interested individuals both in this area and around the country.

If you're considering membership in the chapter, we invite you to read How to join (and why you’ll want to!)

Current chapter members can access the chapter membership directory in the Members Only Section of this web site or search the SLA Online Membership Directory.
