How do I navigate around this site?
Use the navigation links at the top of the screen to take you to the area of
the site you want to go to. A list of resources is on the right hand side of the
home page.
How do I view KeyNotes?
KeyNotes is published electronically in PDF format and in the traditional
paper format. To view the PDF files, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed
on your computer. This is a free program, and can be downloaded directly from the
Adobe
site.
How do I report inactive or faulty links?
While we strive to maintain the highest of all possible standards on our site,
there is nevertheless the possibility that some of the links will either be
outdated or contain a type. We would appreciate hearing from you if you find such
an occurrence. Send email to Tara Murray (murray@pop.psu.edu) or use our convenient feedback form.
How do I suggest new ideas for the web site?
If you have an idea for improving our web site, we'd like to hear from you!
If there is a feature or topic you think should be covered on a regular basis,
and would like to volunteer to maintain such a page, send email to Tara Murray (murray@pop.psu.edu) or use our convenient feedback form and give us your idea!
Major updates will be announced to the Central PA Chapter discussion list. These and other significant updates will
be noted on the "What's New" page.
When you click on the link to the members
only section of our web site, or attempt to open any page in the members only
section, you will be taken to an SLA login page, where you will need to enter your
membership number (or last name) and PIN number. Once you have entered your login
information, you will be redirected back to the page you were attempting to
open.
If you are not a member of SLA-CPC, you will not be able to access these pages.
To become a member, contact the Membership Chair, Jen Darragh (darragh@pop.psu.edu).
If you have forgotten your SLA PIN, go to the SLA Member Security
Gateway and click on the link to have your PIN emailed to you.
Once you have logged in, if you have cookies enabled in your browser, you will
not need to log in again as long as you keep the same browser session open. If you
do not have cookies enabled, you will need to log in each time you access a page
in our members only section.
To sign up for our SLA-CPC discussion list on the web, go to the discussion list page and follow the instructions there. To
sign up by email, just send an email message to the discussion list moderator,
Beth Transue (btransue@messiah.edu),
indicating that you wish to join the SLA-CPC discussion list. Be sure to include
the email address that you wish to subscribe with and your name.
Our discussion list is open to all SLA members, and to others with the approval
of the discussion list moderator. If you are not an SLA member and wish to join
the discussion list, please email the discussion list moderator
and state that you agree
to respect the purpose of our list as stated on the discussion list page.
The archives of our discussion list are available on our Yahoo! Groups page. To
access them, you will need to be subscribed to the discussion list and have a
Yahoo! account. More information is available on the discussion list page. If you are having trouble accessing
our page on Yahoo! Groups, just send an email to Beth Transue (btransue@messiah.edu) for further
assistance.
