Program:

Join us for a professional networking event that highlights the activities and accomplishments of the past year, and looks forward to the future. Come vote for your 2008 officers and applaud SLA Boston award winners! Enjoy a wonderful dinner and network with your colleagues.

As per our custom, chapter members who wish to attend only the Business meeting portion of the evening can do so at no cost. We would still appreciate advanced registration. Please indicate when registering that you are only attending the business meeting portion of the evening.

Agenda:
Registration, Networking and Hors D'oeurves: 6pm - 7pm
Dinner: 7pm - 8pm
Annual Business Meeting: 8pm - 9pm

We will be having a buffet that includes:

  • Orange Balsamic Glazed Chicken Breast
  • Herb Crusted Beef Sirloin with Pinot Noir Demi Glaze
  • Penne with Wild Mushrooms and Plum Tomatoes
  • Herb Roasted New Potatoes
  • Fresh Grilled Vegetables

What happens during the business meeting?
We present and vote on the slate of officers for the coming year.
We present chapter awards. Check out past winners!
The gavel is passed from the current President to the President-Elect.
Tom Clark, SLA Boston President, will give a Year-in-Review.
Anna Burke, SLA Boston President-Elect, will lead a discussion on what we're trying to accomplish over the next year, including integrating new technology initiatives and communications initiatives.

Directions & Parking

Commander's Mansion
440 Talcott Avenue, Watertown, MA.

The Commander’s Mansion is located within the Arsenal on the Charles office park. Once inside the office park follow the signs for the Commander's Mansion. For web directions please use 311 Arsenal Street as Talcott Avenue is not recognized by MapQuest. Directions are also listed on their web site.

Parking is available in the lot just as you get to the Commander's Mansion. There's a sign as you approach. If the lot is full, you can park on the road outside of the Mansion (Talcott Avenue).

By Bus:
Take the 70 or 70A bus to the Arsenal St. & Arsenal Court stop. Walk down Arsenal St. towards the Arsenal Mall. At the first set of lights, turn down Talcott Ave. The Commander's Mansion is about 1/4 mile down Talcott Ave.
