Network with colleagues while relaxing in the fall weather just moments away from the Quabbin
Reservoir in Western Massachusetts! Join members of the SLA Connecticut Valley and SLA
Boston chapters for an afternoon of food and drink with nature photographer, Les Campbell,
who is an authority on the history of the Reservoir. Having worked at the Quabbin for more
than 40 years, Les is dedicated to preserving the visual history of this incredible area.
In addition to his interest in local history, Les is highly acclaimed for his multi-image
slide presentations.
On Saturday, October 13, 2007, he will present a special program for
SLA entitled, Meeting of the Waters, describing the creation of the reservoir and the
impact on those towns eliminated with the building of the dam.
