We are currently searching for a Staffing Specialist for our successful downtown Boston office. This position with InfoCurrent will play a key role in helping other information professionals clarify their career goals and find meaningful work throughout New England.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Sourcing permanent placement and temporary candidates
•Screening and interviewing candidates
•Matching candidates to open positions
•Building rapport with prospects and clients
•Developing working knowledge of client needs
•Direct sourcing within the library and information management community to develop professional relationships
•Promptly responding to candidate inquiries and client calls
•Coaching and counseling candidates
•Skill marketing of qualified candidates to clients
•Quality control through reference checks, background checks, and client and candidate follow up calls

Requirements:
•BA or BA degree required.
•MLS degree from an ALA–accredited school preferred.
•2 + years of work experience in a library environment.
•Demonstrated knowledge of high-volume service operations.
•Excellent multi-tasking skills and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
•Ability to provide top-notch customer service.
•Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
•Excellent PC skills a must.
