Asian Chapter, SLA Awards 2013 Announcement
Asian Chapter, SLA is happy to announce the following Asian Chapter Awards to attend SLA 2013 conference in San Diego, USA during 9-11 June, 2013.
1. "SLA Asian Librarian Award 2013” sponsored by IEEE & Asian Chapter ($ 2,000)
The award will be presented to a librarian working in Asia, who is a current member of Asian Chapter & SLA. Preference will be given to members of the Science and Technology Division and/or Engineering Division.
2. “Diane K. Foster International Student Travel Award 2013” sponsored by Science-Technology Division & Asian Chapter ($2,000)
The award will be presented to a student enrolled in an Asian graduate-level program in the LIS field during academic years 2012-2013.
3. “SLA B&F Division-Asian Chapter Early Career Award 2013” sponsored by B&F Division & Asian Chapter ($2,000)
The Award is given to a budding Library and Information Science (LIS) professional or to a student currently enrolled in an Asian graduate-level programme in the LIS field.
All applications for the award must be received by 28 January 2013.
