Make a Wish Come True
 Library Wishes from Developing Countries

What is the Wish List?
It's a way for SLA Organizations and other library friends to learn about and fulfill modest requests from special, public, and academic libraries in developing countries. Most wishes involve little, if any, cost. Wishes were gathered from a survey of 18 librarians in 15 countries, all winners of a Global 2000/2001 Fellowship or ASIS&T paper competition.

How to make a wish come true.
1. Contact the requestor by e-mail to offer your help.  2. Let us know if you have granted a wish so that we might recognize the people involved and encourage more wish making and granting. Please send a copy of pertinent correspondence to Maria Diaz at  kiiewish@hotmail.com.

South Africa, for example, has no less than five associations or interest groups tha need coordination.  It is a big concern for me.” Funding for Research Mr Godfrey Mduduzi Ncongwane mncongwa@curie.uct.ac.za   Capetown, South Africa Academic Engineering and architecture
