The student group is a great way for students to learn more about Special Libraries and the Special Libraries Association. There is no fee to join the student group and most activities are open to anyone. To receive emails about upcoming events and opportunities join our listserv.

Students who wish to join the National Special Libraries Association can join at a discounted rate of $35. Your membership allows you to join one chapter, and one division or caucus. Your membership fee also includes a subscription to the magazine Information Outlook. As a student you will be able to attend events and meetings offered through the Minnesota chapter at a discounted rate. You can join either over the internet, or by mail.
What is SLA?
The Special Libraries Association is an international professional association that represents nearly 13,000 information resource experts who collect, analyze, evaluate, package, and disseminate information to facilitate accurate decision making. SLA's members are employed by corporations, private companies, government agencies, technical and academic institutions, museums, medical facilities and information management consulting firms.
